APPLICATION

Lay out the tiles and make sure that you have the complete PosterStix graphic before starting the application.

Make sure the area you will be applying the PosterStix is clean and dust free. The PosterStix has formulated adhesives to ttick to the toughest areas such as textured amd "orange peel" walls. They will not stick on unpainted surfaces such as brick and areas that are very rough. In most cases, PosterStix will adhere nicely.

You will apply the first tile starting at the top and go across making sure that the top of the graphic is straight (for posters).

A problem may arise if the top application line of the image is crooked, just as it would be a problem with matching sheets of wallpapers.

Proper application of the first few sheets will make the process fun. You can always go back and remove and reapply the tiles until it is perfect.

Don't worry as much about the location when you start out, since after the application is complete, the PosterStix graphic becomes one piece and you can move it to your desired location on the wall.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

 Single Tile

  1.  Locate the space on the wall where the image will be applied.

  2.  Make sure it is clean and dust-free.

  3.  Remove the backing paper and expose the adhesive.

  4.  If you tack the sheet to itself, just pull it apart.

  5.  Tack it to the wall and apply light pressure from the middle, outward to the edges.

Use a soft cloth or your hand to apply the graphic.

  6.  Make sure the complete sheet and all the edges have been applied.

 Multiple Tiles

  1.  Locate the space on the wall where the image will be applied.

  2.  Make sure it is clean and dust-free. The software automatically adds appropriate

overlaps when your print has multiple panels.

  3.  Start with the largest piece and position on the wall. You can even mark the wall

if you want to be exact.

  4.  Remove the backing paper and expose the adhesive. If you should touch the sheet

to itself, just pull it apart.

  5.  Tack it to the wall and apply light pressure from the middle, outward to the edges.

Use a soft cloth or your hand to apply the graphic.

  6.  Make sure the complete sheet and all the edges have been applied.

  7.  Continue with the next piece and match the sheets with the overlap (approximately .25 inch) to build the image.

  8.  From this overlap, apply pressure outward to ensure a perfect match. Do this with all the sheets until they are completed.

  9.  If the graphic is in the correct spot, go over the complete image while also making sure that all overlaps have been matched up precisely.

If the graphics need to be moved, make sure you go over all seams. Then carefully lift the complete image pulling up on the graphic from direction the of the tiles last to first applied. If you have problems with this technique, just reapply piece by piece until it is all together again.
You can move your image over and over again. Remember to save the backing paper in case you ever want to store the image or trade it.

HAVE FUN!
